Manganese (II) Acetate Tetrahydrate (C4H16MnO8), Purity: > 99%
Description
Manganese (II) when heated, Manganese Oxide is produced from the somewhat water-soluble crystalline form of acetate tetrahydrate. In most skins, it is typically easily accessible. With a total formula weight of 59.05., all metallic acetates are inorganic salts made up of a metal cation and an acetate anion, a monovalent (-1 charged) polyatomic ion made up of two carbon atoms ionically bonded to three hydrogen and two oxygen atoms (Symbol: CH3COO). Acetates are excellent starting materials for the synthesis of compounds with ultra-high purity, catalysts, and nanoscale materials.
Applications
- A precursor in preparation of NCM( LiNi1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O2) powder applicable as cathode material in lithium-ion and Iron-air batteries.
- A starting material in the synthesis of manganese carboxylates, which are used to prepare manganese oxide thin films by chemical vapor deposition(CVD).
- A precursor in the synthesis of manganese-TiO2 composites by chemical vapor condensation(CVC). These composites are used in the oxidation of NO at low temperatures.
