Manganese Sulfate Monohydrate (MnSO4.H2O), Purity: > 99%
Description
Manganese sulfate can be found in nature in a variety of mineral forms, including mallardite, jokokuite, pentahydrite, and szmikite. Several types of superoxide dismutases contain manganese.
Applications
As a micronutrient, manganese (II) sulfate monohydrate can be used to create a nutritive medium for sugarcane plantlet growth. Additionally, it has been utilized as a trace element in the creation of a liquid N6 complete nutrient medium for the growth of H. cylindrosporum mycelia. Plant cell culture tests have shown that manganese(II) sulfate monohydrate (0.6 g/ml) is suitable for use in such experiments. A number of plant cell culture media, such as Chu's N6, DKW/Juglans, Murashige and Skoog, and Gamborg's B-5 media, contain manganese (II) sulfate.
