Germanium Sputtering Targets

Germanium is known as a hard, lustrous, and brittle metalloid. Metalloid means this chemical element stands between metal and metal elements. This grayish-white element has similar physical properties to silicon. Applying germanium sputtering targets to lenses or windows are mostly done to produce infrared optical material for thermal imaging cameras.
