Silver Nanoparticles

Silver is the element with atomic number 47, is listed as the Symbol Ag. As described by the name, the size of the silver nanoparticles is between 1nm to 100nm. It is, in fact, the combination of silver and silver oxide. The shape and size of the silver nanoparticles are up to the use of these particles. The use of silver nanoparticles is not limited to some fields, but it is being used in the number of fields. For example, in the medical, it is being used to curb the growth of harmful bacteria in several applications. Burns's treatment, dental field, and in the biomedical apparatus are the field of having great importance of silver nanoparticles. The benefits of optical properties of silver nanoparticles can be gained through using different sizes and shapes of these nanoparticles. To increase electrical and thermal conductivity, conductive inks are being prepared by the use of silver nanoparticles.
