VULCAN® XC-72 is an industry-standard specialty conductive carbon black belonging to a globally recognized family of performance carbon materials. It is engineered with an exceptional internal microstructure and specialized morphologic design that permits host matrices to achieve optimal electrical conductivity at significantly lower loading requirements compared to conventional alternatives. Characterized by an extraordinary level of chemical purity, this high-performance additive features extremely minimized solvent extracts, low sulfur percentages, low grit residues, and controlled ash contents. Its superb dispersion characteristics promote outstanding surface smoothness while preserving the foundational mechanical integrity and dynamic stiffness of the compounding polymers.
